Terms of Use of the WebProGuide content
1. General Terms. WebProGuide is a free article, review, and news resource. As a publisher, you may re-print the articles from the WebProGuide database subject to the terms and conditions that generally apply to free content articles, The most common of these are:
1.1. Articles must be re-published "as is" - without any editings or modifications.
1.2. The re-published articles must include author's "credit section", in case it is found under the article on WebProGuide. The credits must include the author's name, bio, and any other information about the author provided by WebProGuide. Also, with the re-published article, you must provide a link back to WebProGuide page where you have found this article, or to WebProGuide home page.
1.3. Many articles are not proprietary for WebProGuide (means we have taken them from elsewhere). In this case, except author's info, we provide also notes about the source website. You needn't include this information when re-printing the article; instead, state clearly that the article is taken from WebProGuide and provide a valid link back to the WebProGuide Article page or WebProGuide home page. Again, author's info should be left intact.
1.4. All URLs in the "credits" section should be set as hyperlinks.
1.5. WebProGuide editors must be notified of the intent to re-print any content. The e-mail to send the notification to is: editors@webproguide.com
1.6. Whenever possible, authors should be notified of intent to re-publish their articles. The author's e-mail address or other contact info can normally be found in the author's credits section below the article.
1.7. Articles cannot be used in spam (unsolicited advertising) communications.
1.8. The permission to re-print articles is granted only if not stated otherwise in the article itself or in the credits below the article.
2. Automated Content Mining. We do not permit using any kind of automated access to WebProGuide content other than regular web browsers - this means Site Scrapers, Article Crawlers, etc are prohibited. If unauthorized requests are detected access to articles will be blocked.
3. Copyright and Violations.
WebProGuide's policy prohibits the use of copyrighted material in a manner that violates the copyright owner's rights. In general, this means that publishers are required to use article content obtained from WebProGuide without change or modification.
Publishers should be aware that there is significant exposure if they are found to be in violation of copyright laws. Publishers who violate copyright law are legally liable and subject to possible fines.
